If you've been following me for any length of time, you know that I'm a huge proponent of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) for cardio. I think in terms of optimizing fat loss, it's definitely superior to LISS (Low Intensity Steady State).
Still, as I get into this little mini-cut to shave off a few of the YOLO pounds from the last few months, in going to try an experiment where I only do steady state cardio. I'm trying this for two reasons. First, I think it'll help me recover more efficiently from my weight training sessions. Second, I'm hopeful that it will allow my hamstring injury to heal more quickly.
A few highlights:
Trip down memory lane 0:01
First reason for LISS (recovery) 2:01
Second reason for LISS (healing) 5:12
Bonus reason for LISS! (quant) 7:22
