How should you adjust your macros as you diet for fat loss?
In the first part of this three-part series, I talked about how to set up your macros for a fat loss diet, and here in part two, we answer the question of how and when to adjust those macros. This is arguably an even more important part of the dieting process because a lot of people have a relatively good idea how set up a diet. But there can be a lot of frustration and confusion, when you find yourself asking these questions:
Should I make an adjustment to my macros?
How do I know if I'm progressing at a reasonable rate? Am I losing weight too slowly? Too quickly (yes, there is such a thing)?
If I do decide it's time to make a cut to my numbers, how much should I cut?
Here in part two, I answer all of those questions and give you some clear, tangible steps to take that will get you to your goal efficiently and effectively.
